Terms of Use

Dreamplanet makes experiences that cross between communication and real places. These terms are the ground rules for entering those experiences.

Using Dreamplanet

These terms apply when you use dreamplanet.com, Party at Gary's, or another Dreamplanet experience that links to them. By participating, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not participate.

Age and supervision

You must be able to agree to these terms where you live. A child may participate only with permission and appropriate supervision from a parent or guardian.

Entertainment and the real world

Dreamplanet experiences are entertainment. You remain responsible for your own choices and surroundings. Use ordinary judgment, obey laws and venue rules, respect other people and property, and do not trespass. You are never required to do anything unsafe, illegal, unwelcome, or beyond your comfort. Stop participating whenever you wish.

Acceptable use

Do not use Dreamplanet to harm, threaten, harass, deceive, impersonate, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, distribute unlawful content, interfere with the service, or ask another person to do something unsafe or unwanted.

Your content

You keep ownership of messages, photos, audio, and other content you submit. You give Dreamplanet a limited, non-exclusive license to receive, process, reproduce, adapt, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the experience you chose. This may include creating a requested Player Card or other game-image derivative from a submitted photo and showing it to participants in that experience. You represent that you have permission to share the content you submit.

Party at Gary's messaging terms

An individual requests enrollment by texting START to +1 (651) 422-0099. Enrollment is complete only after the individual receives a confirmation from Gary. Each participant consents for themselves; adding someone to a group does not enroll them.
Messages are sent by Dreamplanet for Party at Gary's and may include enrollment confirmation, experience coordination, questions, prompts, clues, replies, photo or media requests, game updates, support, links, and generated game artifacts.
Message frequency varies with the Adventure. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to opt out. After confirmation, future program messages will stop unless you opt in again.
Reply HELP for help. Support is available at dreamplanet.com/contact/ and hello@dreamplanet.com.
Consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchase.
Mobile information, SMS opt-in data, and consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for promotional or marketing purposes.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Availability and changes

Dreamplanet experiences may change, pause, end, or be unavailable. We do not guarantee that a particular experience, message, route, or feature will always be available or work without interruption.

Dreamplanet materials

Dreamplanet's names, designs, software, stories, and other materials are owned by Dreamplanet or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.

Generated artifacts and external services

Player Cards, Adventure images, clues, and other generated materials are entertainment artifacts, not factual representations or professional advice. Dreamplanet may rely on third-party websites, carriers, and service providers. Their services and terms may apply separately, and Dreamplanet does not control their availability or content.

Suspension or termination

We may limit or end access when reasonably necessary to protect participants, other people, Dreamplanet, our providers, or the integrity of an experience, or when these terms are violated.

Disclaimers and limits

To the extent permitted by law, Dreamplanet is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Dreamplanet evolves. We will post the updated terms here and change the effective date.
